Distinguish politics and faith?
There are always people, dear friends, who think that politics and faith should always be kept separate. Faithful Christians who think we shouldn’t be part of this world:
John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Although it says that we are not part of this world. The Devil’s. And not that we shouldn’t operate in this world.
And others who even claim that the kingdom of God is not of this world. Because Jesus would have said that his kingdom was not of the world.
John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight that I should not be handed over to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from here.
Disregarding that it is NOW out of this world. But while he teaches us to pray for the kingdom of God to come into this world.
